Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation – The Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation’s mission iss to restore and conserve the Laguna de Santa Rosa and to inspire appreciation for Sonoma County’s Wetland which are of International Importance. The Foundation collaborates with public land managers and private landowners on various projects aimed at creating resilient, vibrant ecosystems and communities in the Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed. LandPaths – LandPaths is an environmental education and conservation leader with the mission to foster a love of the land in Sonoma County. They believe everyone should have access to the awe and inspiration of nature. LandPaths engage thousands of participants in joyful, caring, and transformative relationship with the land. They do this mainly through creative outings led in both English and Spanish, environmental education, nature camps, and people-powered land stewardship of local open spaces. Website

Russian Riverkeeper – Russian Riverkeeper protects and restores the Russian River watershed environment for the benefit of current and future generations. The Russian River is our region’s most vital natural resource. RRK’s has been advocating since 1993 for a thriving river ecosystem that is healthy, swimmable, fishable, and equitably shared. Website
Sonoma County Conservation Action – Sonoma County Conservation Action (SCCA) works to conserve, protect and sustain open spaces and forward-thinking climate policies in Sonoma County. The nonpartisan, political arm of Sonoma County’s environmental movement, SCCA’s staff have knocked on more than 50,000 doors each year since 1991, identifying environmentally concerned county residents, distributing information and election endorsements, generating membership and mobilizing residents to write to decision-makers and to volunteer for electoral campaigns. The power of person-to-person, grassroots organizing makes Conservation Action the most politically effective organizations in Sonoma County. Website

Forest Unlimited – Forest Unlimited’s mission is to protect, enhance, and restore the forests and watersheds of Sonoma County. Forest Unlimited educates the public about logging plan review, forestry law, and regulation. Forest Unlimited monitors logging plans county wide, addresses illegal and unsound logging, works toward improving logging rules, and provides information regarding current forestry law. Forest Unlimited sponsors forest restoration projects and coordinates a Mentor Program designed to educate and train the public. Website
